To defrost meat quickly (applies for fish as well – best if meat had been frozen flat)
1. Hold meat/fish under a running tap to wash off ice crystals
2. Dry with a cloth or paper towel
3. Sear both sides in a pan
4. Cook/bake as usual

Meat baking time (please note that temperatures may vary from oven to oven)
Chicken kebabs – 18-20 minutes at 350F
White fish fillets – 15-19 minutes (after searing

When cooking long pasta noodles: Cut them in half to boil evenly in a smallish-medium sized pot
