Apple Walnut Honey Mustard Salad

photo 2This salad dressing is so easy to whip up. We were hungry and needed something quick to complement these pastries for lunch. So without further ado…. a quick salad with a delicious dressing 🙂

Salad:
– Romaine leaves, torn and washed
– Handful of walnuts
– 1 small apple, washed and sliced (if you’re not eating right away, soak briefly in salted water to prevent browning)

Honey Mustard dressing:
– 1-1.5 tbsp vegetable oil
– 1 tsp dijon mustard
– 1 tbsp honey
– 1/2 tbsp dried parsley (this doesn’t do much for flavour, but it does make it prettier 🙂 )
– Mix with a  fork until it thickens, then drizzle over salad portions
